Kerkvader Jerome zegt het volgende; Saint Jerome reported Porphyry’s unduly harsh view of Jesus of the Gospel: “Jesus said he would not go up, and he did what he had previously denied. Porphyry rants and accuses him of inconstancy and fickleness, not knowing that all scandals must be imputed to the flesh. (5)

6; in Johannes 1:18 staat in sommige manuscripten the only begotten Son en in andere staat the only begotten God. (6)

7: Matteus 5;44B, Matteus 6,13B, Matteus 16:2B and 3, Matteus 17;21, Matteus 18:11, Matteus 20:16B, matteus 20:22 and 23, matteus 23: 14, matteus 27:35B.

Marcus 7:16, Marcus 9;44 Marcus 9;46, Marcus 11:26, Marcus 15:28, Marcus 16;9-20.

(7)In matteus 5:44, In matteus 9;13, in matteus 20:16, in matteus 19:17, In matteus 19:9, matteus 13:6, marcus 10:21, marcus 19:17, marcus 7:8, marcus 10:24.

10: There are eight passages at the end of Luke (22:19,20; 24:3,6,12,36,40,51,52) which appear in the AV and practically all other witnesses including Aleph (exc. 24:5) and B. These are, however, missing from the early western manuscript D and certain of the Old Latin. Hort felt it likely that they should in fact be omitted as D characteristically expanded the text, and any shortening in that manuscript was a matter for special notice. In the end Westcott and Hort placed the passages in their 1881 edition, but within double brackets indicating they were probably interpolations. Therefore, in these eight places W/H were led to believe that their B-Aleph text could be wrong. But as they could not bring themselves to speak of “B-Aleph interpolations” they gave to them the question-begging title “Western non-interpolations.”

Lucas 22;19-20 ontbreken in D en wordt door sommigen tussen haakjes geplaatst omdat het een mogelijke toevoeging is. In p75 zijn enkel paar letters van de verzen te zien. De verzen zitten dus erin. Echter het is beschadigd of bevat lacunes waarbij we de exacte woorden niet kunnen nagaan. Deze bloed verwijzing (luke 22:19-20) tijdens de last supper ontbreekt ook in de didache die volgens geza vermes is geschreven tussen 70-100. Daar is enkel een verwijzing naar the wine of your son david en niet naar het bloed van Jezus. Dit staat in de didache;

“This is how you should give thanks at the Eucharist: First, for the cup: We give you thanks, our Father, for the holy vine of your son David which you revealed to us through your son Jesus. Yours is the glory for ever and ever”.

Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona — Or Simon, son of JonahJohn 1:42, NIV: “And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, ‘You are Simon son of JohnMatthew 16:17, NIV: “Jesus replied, ‘Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven

12: Father Raymond E. Brown, a worldwide authority on the Johannine literature, posits five stages in the composition of the Gospel. Stage 1: The existence of a body of oral tradition independent of the Synoptic tradition. Stage 2: Over a period lasting perhaps several. decades, the traditional material was sifted, selected, thought over, and molded into the form and style of the individual stories and discourses that became part of the Fourth Gospel. Stage 3: The evangelist organized the collected material and published it as a distinct work. Stage 4: The evangelist re-edited his Gospel to answer the objections or difficulties of several groups. Stage 5: A final editing or redaction by someone other than the evangelist, and whom we shall call the redactor. (13)

(1)hunting for the word of god, 122,123. Daniel wallace commented on a essay written by ehrman defending the originality of the reading that included jezus ‘furouisnsss’, saying that ehrman, has made not just a impressive case but a persuasive one’.
