Zijn de Dode Zeerollen een bewijs voor de christenen deel 2?

De verwijzingen vanuit het NT corresponderen niet altijd met de Dode Zeerollen. Dit betekent dus dat de Bijbelauteurs citeerden uit manuscripten van het OT die niet volledig corresponderen met de mansucripten die zijn gevonden in Qumran. In onze vorige artikel hebben we al aangegeven dat de Qumran scrolls wat betreft deutoronomium 27;4 niet corresponderen met de huidige Bijbel en Thora, maar een duidelijk verschil hebben.

We zullen Lucas 4:18 als voorbeeld nemen. De mansucripten waaruit Lucas zijn verwijzing citeerde komt niet overeen met de masoretische tekst of de Dode Zeerollen.

Lukas 4:17-18 : 17And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written, 18“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives AND RECOVERING OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,”

Lukas 4:18 is een verwijzing Jesaja 61:1. Echter is het probleem dat het stukje ‘and recovering of sight to the blind’ NIET te vinden is in de Dode Zee-Rollen, noch in de Masoretische tekst.

Jesaja 61:1 in de Dode Zee-Rollen : “1 Yahweh’s Spirit is on me; because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound;”

Jesaja 61:1 in de Masoretische tekst : “1 The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to bring good tidings unto the humble; He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the eyes to them that are bound;”

Jesaja 61:1 in de Septuagint : “1 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me; he has sent me to preach glad tidings to the poor, to heal the broken in heart, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind”
